“Children behind bars”

A Photographer’s Journey with Construction Workers

I do the majority of my company activity with owners, public agencies, and private contractors for construction progress pictures, time-lapse movies, group pictures, and video interviews.

The person or small group structure employee portraits such as the one above aren’t in my contracts. I really do them willingly. I have a gallery of merely every construction employee portraits. Some while using equipment, sometimes using drills (check here to get Makita drill with battery), or when planning.

The Reason

1) Building employees belong to an exceptional tribe, one that is intriguing to translate through photography. Building employees make me feel in your home, they are friendly, curious about everything I do, have a feeling of humor, and largely eager to present. Additionally, the construct things, and that I construct photos. We’re simpatico.

2) The semester has been high power and really at the moment.

3) Short length, a photographic sprint for those who may. Sessions last from 30 minutes to two hours.

Due to the speed and pressures of a building site along with the lurking dangers almost anywhere, I decrease the time that it takes to do those portraits. Therefore, I do not utilize any supplemental light, I use what is there. The Group Portrait

The team portrait is always enjoyable since it requires a little performance art on my part. However, I do not mind. You must get everyone to buy into the notion. This is not a problem since they are being respected. But about 5 percent are on the bashful side which they would like to remain in the fashion back. That is ok, you cant’ catch everybody. And the 10 percent in each group which are fully cooked hams offer the counter.
